Report for the 12/10/15

Yellow belly over 60cm are consistently being caught in the lake at the moment. 60cm plus trout are still being caught trolling around the wall and the bay in front of it. Some reports of redfin are coming in, although at this stage they are not large.

Report for the 28/9/15

Reports of Yellow belly over 10lb being taken trolling the steeper banks. The tournament director is still producing trout over 65cm.

Report for the 17/8/15

The sponsor club fished the lake again last weekend with yellow belly to 3 Kg being produced. Redfin to over 1.5 Kg were also caught.

Report for the 3/8/15

Several trout over 3Kg have been caught in the past few days. Most have been caught trolling the main bay with either wing style lures and a 7lb 2oz fish measuring 71cm was taken on a green crickhopper on 3 colours of lead.

Report for the 14/7/15

Reports from the local tackle stores indicate Yellow Belly to 60cm are being caught with several others around the 50cm also being caught in the lake. Trout over 60cm are still being taken trolling wing styled lures. Check out the photos page for some fine redfin.

Report for the 2/7/15

The sponsor club fished the Lake last weekend. They managed 3 trout weighing 1.95Kg, 1.98Kg and 2.09kg. Golden perch around 55cm and redfin to 910gm. Golden perch were taken bait fishing from both the bank and around the trees. All redfin were taken trolling. All trout were taken trolling wing style lures. Two were taken in amongst the trees.

Report for the 13/6/15

With the lake rising (currently 29%) the trout are on the move and fish over 75cm are being taken. Winged styles lures (Lofties etc) seem to be the lure of choice. Some decent redfin are still being taken, but can be difficult to find.
